Farm Credit of the Virginias Brings Back Photo Contest
Back by popular demand! In June, Farm Credit of the Virginias announced the re-launch of their annual photo contest, with a few changes from previous years. To submit photo entries or view photo submissions, the photo contest can be accessed on the Farm Credit of the Virginias website at the following link: https://farmcreditofvirginias.com/photocontest.aspx
The new photo contest allows participants to submit entries throughout the year and win prizes all year long, as opposed to just once per year. Each quarter, the association will select a favorite photo entry and the winner of a $100.00 gift card. Additionally, photos will be pulled on a regular basis to be featured on the association’s website, social media channels, Leader magazines, and more! Other opportunities for prizes will be announced throughout the year on the Farm Credit of the Virginias’ Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
All Farm Credit of the Virginias customer-owners, employees, industry partners, their families and other friends of agriculture may submit photos to the contest. The person who took the photo should be the same person submitting the photo. The submitter is responsible for obtaining permissions from the photo subjects (people in the photo, owner of property in the photo, etc.). We ask that you limit your entries to three photos per person, per month.
Photo submission may include photos of country living and farming, which could include fields, crops, livestock, family, pets, seasonal scenery, events, gardens, wildlife, flowers, equipment and whatever else inspires you. We prefer photos taken in the Farm Credit of the Virginias service footprint i.e. Virginia, West Virginia, and western Maryland. Also, keep an eye on the Farm Credit of the Virginias social media feed where we will request specific photo types.
