Ian Mongold has joined Farm Credit of the Virginias’ Harrisonburg branch as a Summer Intern. Mongold, originally from Elkton, VA is a rising senior at Virginia Tech where he majors in Finance.
Ian grew up working on his grandfather’s beef farm; a farm that he still helps on to this day. Prior to joining Farm Credit as a summer intern, Ian has gained valuable work experience interning for the Virginia Tech Human Resources Department as well as acting working as Student Assistant Manager for the Virginia Tech Dining Serves.
When asked what he’s most looking forward to in his internship with Farm Credit, Mongold replied, “I am excited to apply what I have learned in my courses at Virginia Tech to Farm Credit”. Ian also mentioned, “I’m looking forward to learning and absorbing all the information I can get from my mentors as well as others in the Harrisonburg office”.
