Farm Credit of the Virginias Names New CEO - Read more

Kathryn Wright has joined Farm Credit of the Virginias’ Harrisonburg branch as a Summer Intern. Wright, originally from Enosburg, VT is a rising senior at Virginia Tech where she working towards a degree in Dairy Science.
Kathryn grew up as the 9th generation on her family’s 1800 acre dairy farm. She and her family milk 500 registered Holstein and 50 Brown Swiss all while farming over 30,000 maple trees. Wright has also competed nationally on the Virginia Tech Collegiate Dairy Judging team and looks forward to acting as assistant coach for the team this coming fall.
“I am excited to bring my fresh and creative ideas into the Harrisonburg office” said Wright. Kathryn also stated, “This summer at Farm Credit will be a huge learning experience for me”.
