Farm Credit of the Virginias recently announced Rebecca Frantz as their new Loan Officer. A native of Swanton, MD, Rebecca will be working out of the Oakland, MD office.
Rebecca is no stranger to agriculture. She grew up on her family’s beef cattle farm and was heavily involved in FFA and 4-H and even served as State FFA President from 2010-2011. Rebecca holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Agricultural and Extension Education from West Virginia University.
Prior to joining Farm Credit, Rebecca taught Agriculture Sciences at Southern Garrett High School.
When asked what she’s most excited to bring to Farm Credit as a new employee, she replied, “I am most excited to have the ability to work with the farmers and rural residents helping to fulfill their lending needs.”
