Farm Credit of the Virginias recently announced Kelly Bohrer as their new Chief Operations Officer.
Bohrer has a strong background in both agriculture and lending. Growing up, Kelly spent time on her grandfather’s farm as well as being a 4-H leader for 10+ years. Kelly has helped out from time to time with her husband’s family farm operations. Currently, Kelly and her husband own a small farm where their daughters enjoy riding their horses and raising animals for FFA and fair projects.
Prior to joining Farm Credit of the Virginias, Bohrer moved through the ranks at MidAtlantic Farm Credit before being named their Chief Credit Officer and Senior Vice President of Loan Operations.
When asked, what she’s most excited to bring to Farm Credit of the Virginia, Kelly mentioned. “I look forward to bringing a diverse experience to the Farm Credit of the Virginias’ team as we continue to serve current and future generations of farmers and rural residents.”
Kelly and her family currently reside in Bunker Hill, West Virginia.
