Farm Credit Welcomes Wytheville Business Service Specialist

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) recently announced Halle Aker has joined the Wytheville office as a Business Service Specialist.

Aker joins FCV with extensive experience in customer service gained as a customer service and marketing leader with a national insurance agency, as well as in banking and marketing. 

“Halle brings exceptional experience to FCV that will serve our customers well, along with an outgoing personality and strong desire to succeed in our fast paced, customer-focused environment,” said Brian Repass, Wytheville Branch Manager. “She’ll be a strong team player and communicator, and we’re confident that she’ll contribute enormously to our team and our customers.”

Aker is a Wytheville native, and earned dual bachelor’s degrees from Radford University in business management and marketing. She was raised on her grandparents’ farm and worked on a local dairy farm, as well as being involved in FFA throughout her youth.

“I’m excited about the challenges this new position will bring me as I focus on supporting our local customers and helping them achieve their goals,” Aker said. “I’m confident my enthusiasm and positivity will serve our customers well.”
