Farm Credit Welcomes Timbers as Business Service Specialist

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Jacqueline Timbers joined the Association as a business service specialist at the Culpeper branch.

Timbers grew up in Fairfax, Va. before meeting and marrying a Culpeper local. She has lived in Culpeper for nearly nine years. She recently graduated with a diploma in the Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Timbers has a strong background in the banking industry, with six years' experience as a service representative, which will serve her well in her role with FCV. Regarding her new position, Timbers shared, “I am excited to bring my willingness to learn to this role and glad for the opportunity to grow professionally. While I do not have a background in agriculture, I look forward to learning more about this profoundly important industry.”

Branch Manager, Becky Ramsey, said, “We are thrilled to have Jacqueline on the Culpeper branch team. Her experience and positive attitude will make her a great asset to the Farm Credit team and the customer-owners we serve.”

Outside of work, Timbers has been active in several Culpeper NAACP events. She also enjoys reading, writing novels, playing computer games, attending summer and fall festivals, and visiting the ocean.
