Farm Credit Welcomes Morrison as Business Service Specialist

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Lynae Morrison has joined the Association as a business service specialist in the Lewisburg branch.

Morrison grew up on her family’s beef cattle and grain farm in Cumberland County, Illinois. She was active in 4-H in her youth. She attended Lake Land College where she earned an associate of applied science degree. Following graduation, she remained employed at Land Lake College, where she gained experience in administrative and human resources roles. Morrison and her husband recently moved to the Lewisburg area so that her husband can attend West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and pursue his dream to become a doctor.

Regarding her new position, Morrison shared, “I’m most excited to be working in a position that allows me to stay involved in the agriculture industry. Farm Credit already feels like home and I believe this role will be very rewarding as we work to support producers and rural community members in the Lewisburg area.”

“We are very excited that Lynae has joined the FCV team,” shared Chris Frazier, regional sales and lending manager. He continued, “She has already made a positive impact, and I look forward to watching her grow in her new role.”

Outside of work, Morrison enjoys baking and spending time with her husband and her Australian Shepherd, Willa. She enjoys helping on her family’s farm when she and her husband visit Illinois. Morrison is also involved in church ministries and is looking forward to finding new hobbies now that she and her husband are settled in West Virginia.
