Farm Credit Welcomes Keller as Business Service Specialist
Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Crystal Keller has joined the Association as a business service specialist in the Leesburg branch.
Keller’s hometown is Winchester, Va. She grew up with an appreciation for agriculture as her grandfather was a turkey farmer in Clinton, N.C., and her family previously raised a vegetable garden. Keller also was active in FFA in high school and participated in a variety of competitions.
Keller brings a diverse background and skillset to Farm Credit. She has taken a number of classes in accounting, business and human resources. Prior to joining Farm Credit, she held positions such as mortgage closer, junior processor and loan officer assistant, all of which will serve her well in her new role.
Regarding her new position, Keller shared, “I am excited to bring my positive attitude, fresh perspective, willingness to be a team player and prior experience to my new role. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in the field of agricultural lending and assisting my teammates to best serve Farm Credit’s customer-owners.”
Jessica Baker, Leesburg branch manager said, “We are excited to welcome Crystal to our Leesburg team! Her knowledge of lending will be an advantage for our team and for our members’ experience.”
Outside of work, Keller enjoys photographing nature; hiking in Harpers Ferry, W. Va. with her husband, David, and their dog, Luna; and traveling.
