Farm Credit Welcomes Flavin as Office Administrator
Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Jennifer Flavin assumed the role of Office Administrator at the Verona Operations Center in Staunton, VA.
Flavin is a native of Augusta County, VA and currently lives in the City of Staunton. She is a lifelong learner and has completed courses at Blue Ridge Community College. Flavin is hoping to continue her education with a focus on Business Administration and English.
Flavin brings 20 years of experience in administrative and office management to the Farm Credit team. Regarding her new role at Farm Credit of the Virginias, she shared, “I am excited to bring my enthusiasm and strong work ethic to this position. I look forward to working with a fantastic team of people to serve the agriculture industry and our rural communities.”
Adam Shiflett, Fleet and Facilities Manager, said, “We are excited to have Jennifer on the team here at the Verona Operations Center. Her experience and positive attitude will make her a great asset for our organization and customer-owners.”
Outside of the office, Flavin is very involved in the community. She and her family are members of Laurel Hill Baptist Church, and she has been involved with Girl Scouts of America, Greater Augusta Prevention Partners Youth Coalition and the Little Free Library Organization. Flavin loves spending time with her husband, three daughters and two dogs. She enjoys gardening, reading, traveling to visit her older daughters at college and cheering on her youngest daughter during her school activities.
