Farm Credit Welcomes Warner to Lending Team
Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) recently announced that Ron Warner of Culpeper, Virginia, has joined the Culpeper branch office as a Loan Officer. Warner brings with him significant experience in the finance industry and a passion for his community.
With an impressive industry tenure of twelve years lending experience, Warner has managed several offices in the Fredericksburg and Culpeper areas. He has lived in the Culpeper area all twelve of those years, and worked there for the past seven.
He has been an active member of the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce throughout that time, and also served as treasurer for four years. There have been many committees within that chamber that Warner was happy to be seated on. In 2015, Warner also served as the chairman of The March of Dimes in Culpeper.
Upon learning there was a position available at Farm Credit, Warner shared “I knew a few people who are working or have worked for FCV and they were always enthusiastic about the company and their job. I heard about the great benefits Farm Credit has to offer the customers and employees and was excited about the opportunity.”
In regards to his newly accepted position with the association, he said, “My overall experience my first few weeks here at FCV have been wonderful.” Warner continued, “I’m eager to use my knowledge in working with our Farm Credit customers here at the Culpeper location, and looking forward to assisting them with their lending needs.”
In his spare time, he enjoys contributing to the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life and the Real Men Wear Pink campaign. He also attends his daughter’s band events, where she plays the trumpet, and helps coach his son’s baseball team. When not attending events with his children, Warner enjoys doing handyman projects and watching a hockey game or two.
Branch Manager, Becky Ramsey, said, “I am excited to welcome Ron to the Farm Credit team. His extensive experience in the banking industry and continuous commitment to serving the Culpeper community will be an asset to our customers.”
