Farm Credit Welcomes Smith as Customer Service Representative
Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) recently announced that Dara Smith of Rural Retreat, Virginia, has joined the team as a Customer Service Representative. Smith will be working out of the Wytheville office and report to Emily Kline, Branch Operations Supervisor.
Smith is a graduate of Rural Retreat High School and Wythe County Technology Center. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky via their online learning program.
Previously, Smith had worked for Mount Rogers Community Services as an office assistant.
She is also an active member of her local community, having been involved with church all of her life. She has attended All Nations Church of Wytheville since she was a child, and now helps with the church’s youth program with her boyfriend of three years, Zack.
Regarding her new role, Smith says, “I am most excited about learning new things and being a valuable asset to Farm Credit.”
In her free time, Smith enjoys spending time with her family. She has a two-year-old niece that is the light of her life, and she spends as much time with her as possible. She also enjoys hunting with Zack.
Kline is happy to welcome Smith to their office, “The Wytheville Farm Credit Branch is very excited to have Dara as a part of our team. She is a quick learner and already devoted to our borrowers.”
